TRUSTRICK’s New MV for “Mirai Kei Answer” Features Sayaka Kanda Playing Guitar!

TRUSTRICK has unveiled the MV for their title song off their EP, Mirai Kei Answer, which will be released on May 5th.

This song was also used as the opening theme to the anime Ore Monogatari!!, with Seiji Kitahara, who also worked on “FLYING FAFNIR” and “Itsuka no Hate”, hired on as director. The video features an undercover character named “Answerman”, with a large letter A drawn on his chest in order to represent the lyrical content and title of the MV. The video shows Sayaka Kanda and Billy chasing after Answerman all over the city.

It was filmed somehwere in the suburbs of Tokyo in early March of this year. There are running scenes shot in Harajuku, Roppongi, Shibuya, and Odaiba on rainy, chilly mornings. For the in studio performance scenes, Kanda challenges to play the guitar under guidance from Billy. She performs in springlike colors, with all-pink hair, guitar, pick, and guitar strap, with a yellow plaid dress to match.

Tsuyoshi Matsuda of quia, who had previously worked on TRUST, lead the artwork on this project as well. Matsuda, who owns his own aqua tank photography studio, filmed the members standing across the multicolored beans and objects floating in water, with letters and initials of the unit such as ?, Q (Question), !, A (Answer), T, and T (for TRUSTRICK).
