Sun Music, one of the oldest and most respected talented agencies in Japan, has signed its first girls rock band Draft King, a 4-member band that includes former Stereopony members NOHANA (bass) and SHIHO (drums).
Since Draft King’s formation in January of 2013, the band has been steady gaining an audience and sold out of their independently produced CD “Hey My Love” on the first day of its release in June of 2013 despite it only being sold at their performances. With successful solo concerts at Shibuya eggman and Shibuya Club Quattro, Draft King released their 1st single “Just Say u.r.?” in June of 2014.
Sun Music, which many fans of Japanese music may know as the agency that half-Japanese “tarento” Becky, idol group Sunmyu, or “megadol” (glasses idol) Ami Tokito belongs to, has been representing musicians, comedians, and actors for over 45 years and will be celebrating their 47th anniversary in November of 2014.
Draft King will be having a solo concert at the famous live house Shibuya eggman on December 17th so don’t miss it!
