Yeah! even to here, the music of BABYMETAL touched the heart of someone.
A Mexican guy told me about them by first time, but I did not put initially so much attention, initially. But then I decided to hear “Ijime, Dame, Zettai”, some time after, and I went amazingly amazed. Yeah, metal is my favourite music genre, and also in that time I began to get more into idols, so, to find the mix of both worlds was really shocking. And, it helped even more how much the style of the instrumentation is what I like at most in the metal.
And how much I love the voice of SUMETAL. Not just in studio, also in live from what I could see on videos. She really sounds strong and calm, very fitting for the band, and for me, it’s really inspiring. I would love to sing on a metal band, but I used to have the complex of that my voice most part of the time, not being very suitable for what it’s expected. But then I hear this, and I feel encouraged and inspired, thanks to her. MOAMETAL and YUIMETAL for me, they give the perfect “kawaii” touch with their screams, like the most distinctive seal. “Megitsune” is also one of my favourites, as well as “Akumu no Rinbukyoku”. But “Ijime, Dame, Zettai” is particularly significative for me for the lyrics, for the sound, the voice, everything. And I really like to sing it along!
And, the support musicians and composers. I admire them very much! They’re also part of the magic and the awesomeness of this. I owe them also so much!
It would be great to see them on my country! I am still too far of Japan or Europe for being able of see them live, so, for now… to keep listening and seeing videos.
Keep working hard, girls!
