I know I’ve already given a BABYMETAL review before but this is something I forgot to add.
•How deep is my love for BABYMETAL?
Words cannot describe how much I adore and love them. As I’ve said before, I don’t think I’ve embraced a band, especially a Japanese and/or a metal band, faster than I did with BABYMETAL. When I first listened to their song and watched their videos, I instantly fell inlove with them. I ended up spending the whole day doing research about them, which is definitely a first time. Normally, it’d take me a week or two before I like a band or singer. But with BABYMETAL, it was love at first sight, or should I say first song?
•Favorite song?
Honestly, its hard to pick ONE favorite song. All their songs have unique meanings. But my all-time favorite would definitely be “Ijime, Dame, Zettai”. It’s a song about bullying. This became my favorite because I could relate to the song, because I was once bullied. It happened when I was a kid, and there were times when I’d cry myself to sleep and make reasons not to go to school the next day because I was afraid. Its been 3 years and it hasn’t stopped. Well its a lot less worse than before, but the insecurity I’d feel afterwards is still there. Since I heard IDZ and found its meaning, it made me feel better in many aspects. Especially mentally and emotionally. I could really say that BABYMETAL helped me. They are one of my lifesavers. I had a lot of “lifesavers” before… But most if them changed because they are now popular. I hope that doesn’t happen to BABYMETAL.
